When buying or selling a house, home, or property, you will have a real estate professional snooping through your home, personal life, and finances.  That makes me almost as uncomfortable as it makes you, except that I snoop through homes, personal lives, and finances on a daily basis!  In order to accomplish your goals of getting where you want to be, we have to start with an honest sharing of information.  And to level the playing field a little in the beginning, I'm going to throw some personal information your way, so you can learn a little about me.  If your are really in a hurry, I would encourage you to read OTHER people's words first, and review the testimonials of my work.  Real estate transactions are great when you work with someone that you enjoy and trust. My clients have consistently said that I made the process of buying or selling their home easier than they could have expected. The key to achieving that standard is thorough consideration of the market, a multi-level marketing strategy that works, keeping the goals of my client at the heart of the transaction, and honest, open communication. My objective is to get you where you want to be, when you want to be there. 

Words are good, but what is the foundation behind them? Here is a little of my story. I have been a resident of Hampton Roads for 37 years and have enjoyed the many benefits of living in this great area. The military brought my family here in 1970, and I enjoyed attending one of the best school systems in the country. I love the outdoors and revel in horse-back riding every chance that I get. Having the beach nearby and the mountains within a few hours drive make Hampton Roads the place that I will always call home.

I obtained my degree in International Affairs from James Madison University and my Masters degree in International Relations from Old Dominion University. Prior to my career as a Realtor®, I enjoyed 13 years as a customer service professional in the container shipping industry, with Lykes Lines and Atlantic Container Line. I am a member of the Virginia Beach Community Emergency Response Team  and serve on the board of my Civic League. Further, I am a member of Wycliffe Presbyterian Church.  I enjoy spending time with my two kids, especially outdoors.

Due to my customer service background, I am sensitive to returning calls or texts and replying to emails promptly. Therefore, I will be in regular communication with you as we move along the process of buying or selling. In addition, I am an effective negotiator and work very well with other agents. These skills are important when it comes to discussing and establishing terms of a contract.
